Partitions (holes for the outlet) act as breakwaters - they stiffen and silence the tank, and facilitate assembly. On the other hand, the recesses allow for a stable grip with straps or fastening.

The second hole - the outlet - is located in the lowest possible place on the side wall and is threaded to a depth of approx. 0.5 cm - ready for use, just screw the tap or sleeve to the hose.
